Corneotherapy is a method of treating the deep layers of the skin by sealing and regenerating the barrier layer of the epidermis. Its basis is to maintain an intact lipid barrier of the epidermis. It is the basic pillar of the Creme Bar brand.

The American dermatologist Dr. A. Klingman, considered a pioneer of Corneotherapy, showed in his numerous studies that the stratum corneum - the stratum corneum is a biologically active tissue, the condition of which directly affects the living layers of the epidermis and the dermis. Dr. Kligman has also shown that some commonly used cosmetic raw materials negatively affect the biochemistry of the stratum corneum.

These raw materials include:

• preservatives - they disturb the natural bacterial flora of the skin, which can lead to the colonization of harmful microorganisms (e.g. acne lesions),
• emulsifiers – they wash away epidermal lipids, which are necessary to maintain an appropriate level of hydration,
• mineral oils and silicones - due to their occlusive properties, they disturb natural gas exchange, additionally they can have a comedogenic effect,
• perfumes and colorants - have strong allergenic properties.

One of the main advantages of corneotherapy is that it is largely free of side effects compared to treatment using topical pharmaceuticals.

BIOMEMBRANE CREAMS - SKIN LIKE CREAMS

These are created for problematic, irritated, damaged, allergic skin. For very sensitive skin, after intensive cosmetic treatments, we recommend first using pure creams, without the addition of active substances.

Biomembrane creams stimulate the skin's natural health processes, rebuilding the skin barrier, restore the proper functioning of the epidermis (epidermis), and also eliminate the effects of inadequate skin care.

Skin-like cream with a molecular structure - biomembrane cream has a structure resembling the stratum corneum, thanks to which its action is more effective.

Creams are free from:

Emulsifiers - which combine oily substances with water and skin lipids, thereby rinsing them out and causing the skin to dry out

Parabens, silicones and mineral oils which, although they moisturize the skin well, inhibit its regeneration processes and have allergenic properties.

Preservative compounds that extend the usefulness or durability of the cosmetic, nonetheless disturb the natural bacterial flora of the skin, which can lead to the colonization of harmful microorganisms.

The creams are based on substances naturally present in the skin:

Triglycerides - an oiling substance belonging to lipids, stimulating natural biochemical processes in the skin

Squalane and ceramides - natural substances that rebuild the structure of the hydrolipid coat

UREA, Natural Moisturizing Factor (NMF) - substances responsible for maintaining proper water memory

Peptides - a short amino acid chain that transmits intercellular information, e.g. regarding the splitting of cells necessary for regeneration.

IQ1 base

Ceramide base - ceramides (fatty substances) - are a component of lipids of the stratum corneum. The IQ1 base includes:

NMF (natural moisturizing factor) - these are low-molecular, water-soluble compounds, which include:

• pyroglutamic acid and its salts - a natural component of human skin co-responsible for maintaining proper moisture. Sodium PCA is an effective moisturizer.
