KARISMA® is an innovative biostimulator based on type I collagen, hyaluronic acid and carboxymethyl cellulose, all extremely biocompatible with human tissues. HOW DOES KARISMA TREATMENT WORK ?

COLLAGEN

Collagen is the main extracellular protein of connective tissue. It is the most abundant protein in mammals (approximately 25% of total protein weight).

The basic structural unit of collagen, TROPOCOLLAGEN, consists of the triple helix of alpha1 and alpha2 left hand polypeptide chains. This superhelix has a right-handed structure. TROPOCOLLAGEN fibers combine to form collagen fibrils.

Technology

The collagen contained in the KARISMA preparation is obtained with the use of innovative technology with the use of silkworms. Contrary to other products, the collagen used, despite its full tissue compatibility with human collagen, is not of animal origin.

Thanks to the NEOSILK technology, the production of type I procollagen C-peptide in fibroblasts increases. This type of peptide facilitates the wrapping of procollagen molecules into a triple helix (superhelis) conformation in the endoplasmic reticulum.

CARBOXYMETHYLCELLULOSE
